Based on a World War 1 image I found somewhere, this card is one of a series of designs using images, paintings and photographs in the Public Domain. Depending on your sense of humour, you'll either find them funny or offensive.
I referenced Siegfrid Sassoon rather than, say, Wilfred Owen, Rupert Brooke, Robert Graves or John McCrae because I was - at the time - reading the first part of Pat Barker's most excellent Regeneration trilogy.<\/p>
